OUR GOAL FOR ACFN 12: Join us during this campaign as we try to meet our goal of raising $10,000 for charity: water, so that we can provide enough funding to build a well for a village in a developing country. As always, Atlanta Corporate Fight Night will share 20% of its net proceeds with our beneficiary. We invite you to help us reach that goal by donating or buying tickets to the show October 21st at the Georgia Aquarium. If you're not attending, please join us in this incredible journey as we do a tiny little part to make the world a better, cleaner, healthier, happier place.
Who They Are
charity: water is a nonprofit organization on a mission to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries.
We’re passionate about solving the water crisis in our lifetime. In the past 10 years, we’ve worked in 24 countries, funded 21,118 water projects and served 6.4M people.
663 million people don’t have access to clean and safe drinking water. Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause more deaths each year than all forms of violence, including war. Water projects built near a community can restore hours to a person’s day. Instead of walking for water, adults can use this time to work and children can use it to get an education. Families with enough clean water to drink, bathe and grow their own food can become self-sufficient households, less affected by external conflict, famine or inadequate government services.
Private donors fund our operating cost so 100% of your donations go straight to the field.
We prove every water project we build using photos and GPS coordinates on Google Maps.
We’re focused on creating a beautiful brand from the beginning by focusing on hope, not guilt.
